8 October 2002 -- The people of Peshtigo
marked the 131st anniversary of
the fire with a candlelight service.

29 August 2002 -- Richard
Bales' book on the Chicago Fire (including a discussion on
Peshtigo) will be available the first week of October, in time for the
131st anniversary of the great fires.

Feb. 2002 -- I have removed the site map feature, because it
was causing problems for some browsers, and I couldn't figure it
out! Likewise, the first search engine I installed was working
only sporadically, so I have added a new
search engine to help you locate items of particular
interest.
